Scotland In Business Relocation News
from:Just as it is true with many parts of the United States that are experiencing a growth in the number of companies choosing to relocate to those areas that are current economic hotspots, so it is with Scotland. Business relocation is booming in many part of the country and agencies and groups that specialize in informing and assisting companies both private and corporate with relocation are jumping onboard with new programs. Certain areas of Scotland seem to be receiving more attention in the media both online and off. What are these areas and what programs are providing relocation assistance to businesses, both local and international, that are thinking of Scotland as a business relocation destination?
As stated before, in Scotland, business relocation services are handled by a number of relocation assistance agencies that provide top-ranking services, information, as well as provide consultation and other services for both private and corporate businesses. It is not necessary to provide a comprehensive list of these providers, but a few choice examples may be in order.
First, there is the Relocation Advisory Service (RAS), a group of recognized professionals that specialize in providing resources and assistance for businesses seeking to relocation and individuals who want to immigrate. They redirect interested parties to those organizations that can provide immediate information to begin relocation. Second, there is the ARP or Association of Relocation Professionals. The ARP is a non-profit organization that serves in a similar capacity to the RAS but includes a list of service providers on-site that are included as members in the organization. It has complete listings for all of Scotland. A final network group, called the Tyne and Wear Development Company, operates in partnership with other Scottish organizations to aid businesses who want to move to Scotland with business relocation materials and contacts.
Smaller regional groups also are making their mark on Scotland business relocation as a whole. These groups are typically established by local governmental departments who are seeking to improve the economic landscape of the areas that they represent. Two of the well-known programs in Scotland for business relocation include the Clyde Water Front project and one called "Locate Dundee" sponsored by the city of Dundee. Each one began as a part of the larger purpose of maximizing on industry growth in their respective areas.
For those who have expressed interest in relocating their business to Scotland or are looking for more information, some of the best resources can be found online via individual web provided by these groups as well as open directories and forums.
