The biggest city in New York is named for the state; New York City. The culture is very diverse in this town. There aren't any cities in the United States that are as populated as this one. If you like this kind of atmosphere, then relocation to New York City could be right for you.
Not everyone likes the way the city is, though. Luckily, the ways the towns are in New York State are very diverse. There are suburbs near the big cities that are quiet but close to the action. Some states tend to be the same all of the way through. For example, Wyoming is pretty much all just small towns. If you like small towns, that is all well and good, but even people who like those towns want to be able to easily go to the big city if they so desire. You can't do that if you live in the middle of Wyoming. You can, however, do that in the middle of New York. There are so many different things that the state has to offer. It borders the Atlantic Ocean, and it even has mountains and plains. In a way, the state of New York is diverse enough to be its own country. This diversity is what draws people to the state in the first place. If you like diversity, then you will most likely like New York.
