They also provide full replacement cost insurance in the occurrence that something would be damaged in transit. In addition to the assistance in moving, the international relocation service will also assist you in getting passports, visas or whatever documentation needed for your entrance and residence in another country. If you have a spouse, they will also help in finding suitable employment in their field of expertise. Schools will be found for the children in the immediate neighborhood of where you will be living after your relocation. If you are moving to a country that speaks a different language, a teacher will be arranged to teach you and your family the language.
For an employer to be willing to finance the international relocation service, they are expecting the relocation to increase their revenue. Often, they find out that the relocation expenses cost much more than they anticipated. They also had not anticipated different tax expenses from having their employees abroad for the entire tax year. Many employers now prefer to send their employees abroad on a short-term basis and just travel back and forth, feeling that this is more economical and fiscally wise for the year. This saves the employer money in some ways, but some of the expenses are the same such as moving there initially and returning to have to find another home, shipment of household supplies, etc. There are many different international relocation service companies to choose from if you have employees that will be transferred internationally.
